Happy with the way it works, pretty basic, I’d recommend you use this on a dry lawn, or you’ll be cleaning the blade frequently. It trimmed some of my sidewalks, that had not been trimmed in 5 years, like there was no overgrown grass.I bought this for my wife because of it’s features, mainly three wheels. That made it easy to use.While I was trimming the overgrown sidewalk it kicked up a lot of dust but that was to be expected, not the machine’s fault, mine for getting letting the sidewalk get in that poor of a shape.I most defiantly was worth the money.

I have been using a battery powered weed eater to try to trim the long walkway up to my front porch. However, I usually encounter a depleting battery life before my project is complete. So, when I saw this tool, I decided it was time to try something new. Yes, it takes a little more effort to use this manual tool, but it’s not overpowering or cumbersome to use it. I also plan to use it to fix the edging in the back of my house. I can’t go near that section with a weed eater due to utility lines coming from the ground up and connecting to the house. So, I usually end up “edging” the front of this area with my hands. I think this will do a great job of clearing the grass and weeds yet allow me to stay away from those annoying utility lines.There is a very wide footplate, so that accommodates my boots well. The blade itself is VERY sharp, which you obviously need. One great feature of this edger is that there is a blade guard that fits on the end when the edger is not in use and hanging on a garage organizer. There is a padded handle grip which is also a nice touch. As the product description mentions, there is the ability to adjust the height of the tool and that is another reason why this edger caught my eye.There is a minimal amount of assembly required when the package is received, but it is very easy and presents no problem for a non-mechanical person such as me. (Now you can see why I liked the idea of a manual edger!) However,I have to let Mother Nature get rid of the snow covering my grass before I can test this edger out.
