The connection points for the keys are quite fragile, and while I’m not expecting the same quality switches as my $100+ keychron keyboards, I was hopeful it would last the last couple of semesters of applied statistics. Customer Review: “After seeing a lot of Youtube videos about the Speed Editor, and wanting to get into video editing myself, I was convinced, “I’ve GOT to get me one of these!!!!” I found the Speed Editor bundled with a software license for the Studio version of Davinci Resolve. It was Amazon Prime Days, and so I was able to buy it at about $150 less than the advertised price. That was too sweet of a deal to pass up! It was delivered to my house the very next day! A lot of people have suggested when first learning how to use Davinci Resolve, that you skip the cut page and go straight to the edit page. It is my opinion that if you are first getting started with Davinci Resolve and wish to have one of these Speed Editors, that you do the exact opposite; Start by learning the cut page first instead of the edit page. This way it will probably be much easier to get used to the speed editor once yours arrives. The edit page has great features, however it’s easy to become spoiled and you might be hesitant to switch over to the edit page. Old habits can be hard to break out of. The speed editor DOES work with SOME of of the features on the edit page, but it was designed to be used in the Cut page. That’s where it shines. It is designed to work exclusively with Davinci Resolve, and probably won’t work with any other product. This is probably not a gadget you can learn how to use in just one session. It may take some time to learn what all the buttons do, and to become used to using the scroll wheel. I’ve used the old school clunker VHS video editing consoles that have the left and right shuttle knobs. The Speed Editor shuttle knob has a completely different feel compared to those old VHS consoles. Unlike the consoles which have spring-loaded shuttle knobs that return to the center position after you rotate and let go, the Speed Editor knob turns freely, and will rotate all the way around. You can spin it. It has no click or indentation feel, there is no “center” position. This takes some getting used to. There are three different speeds for the control knob. I’m still learning the different ways to trim and edit clips in the cut page. For example, when to use the “place on top”, “trim in”, “trim out”, “roll”, “slide”, “split”, etc. It can seem overwhelming and confusing at first. Best suggestion is to simply open up Resolve, go to the Cut page, load some footage, and just play around with it. Experiment and learn as you go. Also there are lots of tutorials on Youtube about this product. It will connect via bluetooth OR you may connect it to your computer via the USB “C” cable which was included. (If your computer doesn’t have a USB “C” jack, you may get an adaptor cable.) After playing around with this gadget for a few days, I’m really starting to like it. I love how the control knob feels, and how quickly I can navigate across the timeline and clips. Even my cat is fascinated by the control knob LOL Heads up; keep your kitty away from it, because, like I said, the wheel moves freely, there’s no click/indentation feel, and it’s quite sensitive. I like the multi-cam features, and the ability, with the press of a button, to turn on or off audio or video on individual tracks. The in and out buttons are large, making it easy to use without having to look down to see where your hands are placed. This is a well-built quality device. I think this gadget is well worth it, and is a good investment, whether you’re just getting started with video editing or have been doing it a while.”

Customer Review: “I recently got the Logitech MX Creative Console, and it’s been a game-changer for my editing workflow. This two-piece console features a customizable keypad and a dialpad, both easy to set up with the Logi Options+ app. It’s especially useful for Adobe Creative Cloud users, with dedicated integrations for Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and others, plus additional apps coming soon. I am personally not a creative cloud user and still find it very useful. I have created my own profiles for Capcut, Davinci Resolve, Krita, and, for the fun of it, even an old Quake 1 map editor. I fully expect to add more profiles for random and obscure apps in the future. The hardware is sturdy, with an aluminum dial and customizable LCD buttons on the keypad. You can create your own graphics to fully customize all the buttons. My only gripe is the current limited selection of third-party apps in the Options+ marketplace, but I’m optimistic this will grow over time as users and developers contribute. A little surprised Blender wasn’t on the list at release. I fully expect that and various cad software support soon. Overall, it’s a fantastic addition to any creative setup. But could see the usefulness in Excel, PowerPoint, and other such productivity applications as well. Color matches with my actual computer, bluetooth connectivity is great. Customer Review: “It works great, a little time consuming at first to configurate but once configured it’s a great tool. I use it in Photoshop but they still have no Bridge or Adobe Camera Raw support, that means that you’ll have to create your own personal profiles. The setup software works really well and it’s very intuitive, so the learning curve is not steep and wont require much time to learn how to configure. The bluetooth connection also works really well. Logitech is constantly updating the controller, so I expect it to work even better and have more usability in the future”

Customer Review: “I could not be happier with this purchase. I am a keyboard junkie. I have always been on the hunt for the right sound, feel and ease of use. This one checks all of the boxes. One thing in particular that I look for is how it feels when I type. I have long nails and my long nail girlies know, if the keys are too stiff, not the right height, etc, it can be very uncomfortable to type all day. I have an office job that requires me to be on the computer all day and this is the one. The keys are low profile, but have enough give that it feels satisfying to type. The clicks are there both audibly and when you press on the keys (you can feel it), but it is not one of those loud clackers that you see online that will drive your co-workers nuts. It has some weight to it where as it does not feel cheap, but is not overtly heavy. It is compact, so it doesn’t take a lot of room up on my desk which I love, and has a very sleek and modern look to it. It takes a minute to get used to the layout of the keys being all so close together, but now I have no issues. The only thing I have noticed is that the backspace key feels a bit different and more stiff than the rest of the keys, which are so reactive and that is the one thing that annoys me. You can choose to have the backlit light on or off. I appreciate that it does not have a ton of wacky colors, and instead is a soft white glow that is easy on the eyes and adds a nice look to an already sleek looking keyboard. I feel like the hunt for the perfect office keyboard is officially done! I think Loffree makes some great looking and quality keyboards, but the price always feels a bit too high. Seeing as this checks off all of my boxes, I’ll let it go and am still very happy with my purchase.”

Customer Review: “The media could not be loaded. This is my first ever mechanical keyboard, and I have to say, it’s really life changing. I was SO nervous getting it because it is a fairly STEEP price to pay for a keyboard. I was hoping it would have the best sound for me and that it would actually elevate my typing experience since I spend quite a lot of time using a keyboard. Part of my job involves handling ~400 chats weekly. I was getting by with a standard Logitech keyboard that was company-provided and NOTHING to write home about. I watched sooo many reviews for so many keyboards and almost passed on this one multiple times. I’m glad I didn’t make that mistake. Build Quality 5/5 The feel of it is like nothing else. If Apple were making mechanical keyboards, they would look and sound like this one. I’m a PC/Android girl all day, but you can’t deny the premium feeling that Apple products have in their styling and design. This keyboard reminds me of that. I got the Flamingo pink, and it’s beautiful. It’s genuinely a peachy pink, like a flamingo. Girly enough to satisfy the aesthetic I like without being over the top. No fingertip smudges or anything despite already dealing with heavy, daily use. It stays perfectly matte. Lighting 4.5/5 The shine through, the light coming through the keycaps (especially in low lighting) is so well-done. The lighting modes aren’t the best, but there are some amazing patterns and options that you can customize to fit you. I have it on the setting where it lights up then fades after pressing the key. Super luxe. This comes in handy for people in gloomy climates or low-light settings. No RGB, but the shine through keycaps definitely help. Layout 4.5/5 Having 100 keys is prime. It’s taking some adjusting getting used to the 96% layout versus a full keyboard, but the other bonuses from this keyboard make it so that I don’t miss the full keyboard layout AT ALL. Except my big 0 button. Anyone who works with numbers, just understand you’re gonna fumble with the tiny 0 for a bit. Weight 5/5 Many YouTubers complained about this not having an aluminum base, but I prefer this build. It has some heft, but it’s not heavy/clunky. It’s slim, lightweight; I can carry it from my office to my living room to my room when I want a change of scenery. Then, you can pack it into your backpack and carry it to a coffee shop, to a friend’s for a joint gaming session, etc. Connectivity 4.5/5 You can use the 2.4GHz USB or Bluetooth for wireless options. Then they give you a wire for you to use as well. The wire feels like the least thought-out part of this; it’s so flimsy. I also wish it were white or a matching pink for the flamingo version. It’s also not the easiest to insert. I ended up just using my own. Software -100/5 The major downside is that the software to make macros that comes with the keyboard is pretty glitchy. It’s practically useless. It always talks about needing an upgrade. Well, to upgrade you need to unplug the USB receiver and plug in the cable. This seems ridiculous. It also seems to need an upgrade often. The app version freezes up bad and will not let you do anything (like change the brightness or lighting pattern) until you upgrade. The online version is better. Terrible. A ball and chain on a stunning keyboard. But the keyboard is soo good. All the cons don’t even register much because it’s SO. NICE. I type ~90-100 wpm, and it feels like I finally have a keyboard that lets me fly. I included a video doing a ~50 wpm typing test and then also a ~90 wpm one, so you can see what it sounds like at different speeds. You can see how easy it is to fly on this thing at the higher speeds. It’s perfectly thocky/creamy for those who prefer that.”
