Included mounting bolts, nuts and backing plate. The whip was the perfect length and thread size. The hose ends are 3/8 male NPT. One end swivels. I only made one slight change which was to tighten the elbow at the reel swivel a little more so that I could directly feed the hose through the hole on the end plate to the elbow instead of making a loop. Since the elbow was installed at the factory with some kind of stiff sealant, I had to remove the snap ring so I could put the swivel in a vise to turn the elbow.
It came with two extra fittings I didn’t need. They appear to be the standard hand-tight fittings that come with pressure washer hoses to connect to the pump. I use quick disconnects on my hose ends. So, I didn’t use these fittings. One fitting is 3/8 male NPT on one end and the other end is a male thread, probably metric. It’s a little larger than 1/2 NPT and finer thread. The other fitting is female 3/8 NPT one end and the other end is the female thread that fits the mysterious threads of the above described male fitting end. It’s rubber around the nut so you can hand tighten it. Again, I believe these are the fittings normally used when connecting hose to the pressure washer pump.
The hose I have is thicker and stiffer than standard pressure washer hose. I was afraid the diameter of the spool was too small to wind the hose, but I was pleasantly surprised to find it easily wound up in the reel. The spring loaded lock pin is nice so you can prevent the reel from unwinding itself.
