Customer Review: The media could not be loaded. Its exactly as advertised. Inexpensive and efficient. Ill post some pics. Ive already used it within 10min of opening. Its exactly what I wanted and exactly what I expected. Its about as easy to use as it looks. I’d recommend you purchasing this one if you havent used one before. Its my first time and it’ll probably last me a lifetime. We will see. Also I have only used it for the core aeration purpose. I have not used any other function as I do not need them at this time. Some minor assembly required.

Customer Review: The ad for this represents it very well. The measurements, description of tools and directions for assembly are accurate. Do note that there are no instructions included in the box you receive, so you may want to take note of the ones in the ad if you are someone that relies on directions. The tool is very easy to assemble if you just reference the picture on the box. I personally found the tool much nicer than I thought it appeared. In hand, to my eye, it is much more heavy duty than I had expected. Included in the box are the tool itself with one attachment being a 3 hole coring plug and the other a 5 spike aerator. There is another plate you can attach to the 5 hole, adding 10 more spikes for a total of 15. We received 17 spikes (2 were extras), 19 nuts (4 were extras), 4 small wrenches, and 6 bolts (2 were extras). The tool worked excellent in our testing. When coring the cores go into a tray built into the top of the corer so you aren’t constantly having to dump them. The aerator works just as well. The way the tool is built you are not having to rely on upper body strength to press it in the ground, you just step on it with your foot. At the current $29.99 price point, we found this tool a bargain. It did everything we needed and more. All the pieces seem very good quality and sturdy, including the spikes. I see no reason why this would not last us for many years to come. If you’re in the market for a tool like this, I highly recommend giving this one serious consideration. We’re very please and would certainly not hesitate to purchase it again.

Customer Review: I got this as we have a big patch of grass missing in our backyard. We had a fire pit and that killed the grass under and around so for this spring/summer I am working hard on getting that patch back. It was easy to use, I tried it with the soil dry but it was much easier after light rain. I am really hoping this will work. It was easy to assemble and it is lightweight. I do recommend using boots or sneakers. 10/10 for me so far.

Customer Review: i first let viewers knew that i received this product free under the amazon vine program the aerator came in a few days ago, just perfect for our area. here in oklahoma, the temperature the last few weeks had been in the 70’s during the day with very little rain. sun blazing, wind drying the soil out, my lawn and the the soil beneath the grass brittle and dryed out, rain water just ran off before it could be absorbed. my husband had opened the box when it arrived and thought i had bought him a gift 😇😇; i left him in the belief. so, anyhow, the next day he went outside (mind you he is in his low 70’s) and i found him around 10am marching up and down the lawn with the aerator. i watched him, told him not to over due it, but he replied “this thing is fantastic, its easy to lift, very light weight, and takes no effort at all to put one foot on top and take a step”. i left him to his device, 45 min later, he still had not returned inside, went to check on him again – still out there pushing the aerator in the soil, push, step on it, pull out, repeat – i could not believe after almost an hour he was still at it. told me later, that it was like childs play, the spikes are so slim and set up in a way that does not take a lot of physical effort to push down or to pull them back up but here comes where i saw the benefit. two days ago we had rain, lots of it at night and early morning, street ran like a creek. normally, most of the water would have just hit the lawn (mine has a slope of about 5 feet from street level to the walkway leading to my front door), form little rivers in the dryed out soil and run off with little benefit to my grass. however, that morning when i checked outside, my lawn looked different, at first i couldnt figure out why, than it hit me, the soil looked somewhat loose, crumbly and when i took a little shevel, it was easy to turn the soil, it was spongy. those thousands of little holes my husband had created by using the aerator, had stored the rain water in the soil and had prevented the usual runoff – i was absolutely amazed. summery: the aerator delivered exactly what it promised, it loosened up the soil with minimum effort, the prize is reasonable, the aerator itself is solidly build, not some flimsy contraption you sometimes find in discount stores. according to my elderly husband it is very easy to use and doesnt wear you out. it came almost fully constructed, just minor work putting it together, very pleased with this product and i believe it would be an asset to any homeowner who has a lawn to maintain.

Customer Review: This aerator is a total beast. The device is well made and the spikes are scaringly sharp. It assembles easily if you use a 3/8” socket wrench. If you use the tools provided for assembly you might become frustrated. This item is built to last. The only downside is the amount of time/work and energy it takes to do a larger lawn. It will give you a bit of a workout. You step on it to plunge the spikes into the ground and it’s somewhat self cleaning as it retracts.

Customer Review: I have several areas of my yard where nothing will grow – not even weeds. I have tried turning the “soil” and planting it with grass seed. The seeds come up, and the grass looks a lovely green color for a couple of weeks, and then dies. A couple of months go by, and it looks just as it did before. So I have been wanting to try a lawn aerator to see if it will help. I can’t tell you if it will work or not – but I can tell you about the aerator. The device is made of stainless steel – similar to the kind used in pots and pans. It comes in pieces that need to be bolted together. The process is intuitive, quick, and easy – 5 minutes tops. It comes with an Allen wrench and a combination wrench to tighten the bolts. The closed (box) end is not the right size for the bolts, but the open end worked. It comes with an extra couple of bolts. The tool is sort of fun to use. It is a lot less work or strain on my back than using a shovel. In most of the “dead zone” I had to put my entire weight onto the step area and rock a bit to get the tubes to sink down to ground level. When I pull it up and repeat the action, it spits out three “turd-like” cylinders of packed soil, about 2 cm in diameter and 10 cm long. In other areas, it just slips into the soil as if it were hollow. Even where the soil is nearly hardpan, I can do a square meter in about 5 minutes. If I were renting the tool, I might knock myself and aerate all the dead zones in a day – but there is no need for that, and 10 -15 minute round keeps it fun, rather than work.
