This is in line with other manufacturers brushed versions so you are getting more for your money (which you should since it’s not a name brand). I tested this against a brushed Ryobi 18v hedge trimmer. It feels lighter / cheaper – point for Ryobi. It feels much better balanced than the Ryobi – point for this. They seem to have the same power / cut speed – tie point. I really like the digital readout on top that shows battery percentage – haven’t seen that before on a power tool and kind of neat. Pictures show how it came – easy to assembly, but is not fully assembled out of the box. Comes with a nice blade cover that you do not have to wrestle to put on. I tested this with a Seesii battery (Makita style) – it felt well balanced with a 4Ah battery installed. Would recommend as an alternative if you are in the Makita ecosystem and cannot / do not want to buy Makita.”
