On this model, you install the line with the fuel filter on the larger nipple with barbs. The plain line goes over the narrower, straight nipple. I tested this by placing the lines on and ensuring that once I hit the priming bulb, that the plain line was spitting out excess gas and not sucking in gas from the tank. I like that this kit comes with two grommets and fuel filters. I could see possibly killing one of the grommets by accident trying to force it into the tank. I almost did with my screwdriver. I will probably change out my fuel filter next season since I have it. Also like that it comes with priming bulbs, though I hope to never have to use them.
