This brushless lawn edger snapped onto my Milwaukee 18v battery like it was MADE for it (because it was, duh). Fired it up and suddenly I’m out here edging my lawn like I’m getting paid by the HOA. The 9″ blade is no joke — clean cuts, crisp lines, zero mercy for overgrown grass. The adjustable depth is clutch because I can go light or absolutely disrespect my lawn’s edges depending on my mood. The rear wheel keeps it steady so I’m not fighting it, and the 180° handle means my wrists aren’t crying halfway through. Lightweight too, so I didn’t feel like I just finished leg day at the gym. I have been using a battery powered weed eater to try to trim the long walkway up to my front porch. However, I usually encounter a depleting battery life before my project is complete. So, when I saw this tool, I decided it was time to try something new. Yes, it takes a little more effort to use this manual tool, but it’s not overpowering or cumbersome to use it. I also plan to use it to fix the edging in the back of my house. I can’t go near that section with a weed eater due to utility lines coming from the ground up and connecting to the house. So, I usually end up ‘edging’ the front of this area with my hands. I think this will do a great job of clearing the grass and weeds yet allow me to stay away from those annoying utility lines. There is a very wide footplate, so that accommodates my boots well. The blade itself is VERY sharp, which you obviously need. One great feature of this edger is that there is a blade guard that fits on the end when the edger is not in use and hanging on a garage organizer. There is a padded handle grip which is also a nice touch. As the product description mentions, there is the ability to adjust the height of the tool and that is another reason why this edger caught my eye. There is a minimal amount of assembly required when the package is received, but it is very easy and presents no problem for a non-mechanical person such as me. (Now you can see why I liked the idea of a manual edger!) However, I have to let Mother Nature get rid of the snow covering my grass before I can test this edger out. I can already tell that it will do well for my needs.”

Customer Review: “Bought this to replace an old Greenworks that never fed the string right. The WORX trimmer is definitely lighter. Battery arrived with one bar and charged up fairly quickly. I wanted to edge with it but the instruction weren’t clear as to how to position the head on its side. Took a while to figure out that you had to grab the head and PUSH it out in order to rotate it. The instructions weren’t clear on that part. Anyway, got it set up and it worked like a charm. Very easy to follow a straight line. Also did some trimming with it and it works. The only comment I have is could they make the string spools any smaller? What gives with that? They could have been bigger. Other than that I’m happy. UPDATE: I went to use it yesterday and it kept cutting out. I figured the battery was dead but when I put it on the charger, SOLID RED which is a defective battery. Since I’m outside the return window I dreaded trying to work with the company but I was surprised. I managed to get a real person quickly, she took down the information and promptly put in an order to ship me a new battery under the six month warranty. Just now I got an email confirming shipment with delivery in two days. I have to say I’m impressed with their customer service. Not so much pleased with a dead battery in seven weeks but I guess these things can happen. Lets see going forward, but so far, very good service. UPDATE 7/7/24 The replacement battery arrived and put it on the charger and nothing, no lights, so is it bad or is the charger bad? Called WORX again and spoke with Anthony. After we got to understand each other it went very well. At first he wanted me to take the battery to Home Depot and ask them to charge it? No Thanks on that one. So after some discussion, he sent me a new charger and another battery. They arrived yesterday and IT WORKS! Even the first battery that the charger said was defective now works so the original issue was the charger. In fact I opened it and there is a burn on the circuit board. I have to say WORX is a very upstanding company and I would clearly say that they stand behind their products. Now that I have three batteries, I guess I’m gonna have to buy more of their tools. Customer Review: “I needed a lightweight trimmer that I could use easily to do spot work around trees, faucets and other trim work. This was it! It easy folds for storage into a small space, runs a long time on one charged battery, and works like a champ. The string spool looks so small but it lasts a long time, several uses around garden beds, string light poles, flower beds, faucets, etc. I also found out it is adjustable so that I can use it as a lawn mower in tight areas that I can’t get the push mower in, cuts as evenly as the mower. It is super easy to change the battery and the string spool. The string spools aren’t expensive either. There is nothing I don’t like about it. I still use the heavy gas string trimmer for around fences trees, and equipment shed in the pastures on my farm but this one is my every day trimmer now.”
