Customer Review: The blades were painted and dull. The drive shaft was a little short, not getting enough of a bite on the trimmer shaft to actually get the blades going. It fit on my old craftsman but was 90° off for my Senix. I took the grinder to the blades to actually give it a cutting edge. I trimmed the shaft around the drive shaft about 1/4″ so the trimmer has more drive shaft to bite into. Made new holes to accommodate the Craftman and Senix. She’s now good to go. The metal blades seem a little soft so time will tell how long she’ll last until I’ll need to sharpen them again. She seems decent after making the changes.Picture: You’ll see the original hole on the left, which originally had a spring button thing, and the new ones on the right. The bigger one is for the Senix, the smaller for the Craftman. The driveshaft is now about flush with the edge, matching the other attachments I have.
